The construction of Damodar City in Labasa is expected to start in the next two months.

Damodar Brothers, Chief Executive Officer, Div Damodar said it will be similar to the Damodar City in Raiwaqa.

Damodar said they have a lot of space in Labasa that they are planning to have a much bigger complex than the complex in Suva.

Since , there are currently no cinemas in the North, Damodar said this will be a great opportunity for those in the North to entertain themselves and shop under the same roof.

Damodar said that majority of people will not have to change their town in search of better employment as the Damodar Brothers are bringing this opportunity right to their door step.

He said the building will have food courts , various  shops and a cinema house.

Damodar says they are still working on the cost of this project.
