Commissioner Northern Jovesa Vocea has challenged graduates from FNU to make their mark as they enter the workforce through dedication, hard work and excellence.
While speaking at the FNU graduation in Labasa this morning, Vocea told the new graduates to capitalize on the knowledge and skills they have attained after completing their studies.
Vocea says getting a good education is not just about getting a degree adding it is all about having an informed mind about reading, researching and learning the ways of others.
He told the students they can choose to be a doctor, teacher or a nurse, but whatever they choose to do, they should strive to be the best in that field.
FNU hosted a series of graduation this month with over 1800 students graduating with Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees.
Meanwhile, the estimated 27‑million dollar campus in Labasa is expected to be ready and operational by the first semester of 2020.
