Commemorative stamps launched to mark 45th anniversary of China-Fiji Diplomatic Relations

Minister for Education, Rosy Akbar and the Chinese Ambassador to Fiji, Qian Bo today launched commemorative stamps to mark the 45th anniversary of the China-Fiji Diplomatic Relations.

While speaking at the launch, Akbar says the stamps are a proud symbol of the rich culture, tradition and a testament to the strong political trust and goodwill between the two nations.

She has thanked the Chinese government for the support they have shown in every way and hopes that the friendship between the two countries will strengthen in the coming years.

Bo says China-Fiji relations has developed a lot in the past years and have yielded fruitful results benefiting both countries.

He says more Fijians are getting the opportunity to go and study in China.

Post Fiji will be selling the stamps in all its shops from today.
