As the Digicel Kulas prepare to take on Papua New Guinea in the final of the OFC Women's Nations Cup, coach Lisa Cole says she has been impressed with the team as they have had issues with COVID and had to play players in different positions.
Cole says everyone has risen to the challenge.
She says she has been very impressed by Cema Nasau’s performance who has been the Player of the Match three times while captain Sofi Diyalowai has scored some impressive goals as well.
The Kulas will take on PNG at 7 tonight at the HFC Bank Stadium.
The winner of the Women's Nations Cup will qualify for the inter-confederation playoff for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, which will be played in New Zealand next year.
The inter-confederation playoffs will determine the final three qualification spots for the FIFA Women's World Cup.
