It was an exciting morning for the students of CMF College, Basden College, Assembly of God High School and International School Suva after the Powerade Torch relay team visited their school.
AOG High School Principal Amrit Prakash Sharma says they are blessed to be one of the 86 schools that are selected to have the Coca-Cola Games torch visit their school.
Sharma says after hosting the Coca-Cola Zone 1 for the past 2-weeks, they have dreams of hosting the torch to boost their athlete's preparation for the upcoming Coca-Cola Games.
The Head of School at International School Suva says they are blessed to be part of the Coca-Cola Games build-up and hope that the torch will motivate their athletes in their preparation.
The Powerade Torch has visited 86 schools for the past 15 days and has ended its tour today, but it will stay alight until next week.
The Coca-Cola Games will be held from next Thursday to Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium.
