400 metres final - Boys

After deliberations on a photo finish, Ratu Kadavulevu School’s Josua Koro and Nikola Raiqeu of Saint John’s College were tied for a gold medal each in the Senior Boys 400 metres final.

Lepani Baticuvu of RKS won the bronze medal.

Richard Elder of RKS won gold in the Intermediate Boys 400 metres final, Aminio Tuilevu of Cuvu College won the silver medal while Meli Romuakalou of Suva Grammar School settled for the bronze.

Ronald Sharma of Cuvu College came from behind to win gold in the Junior Boys 400 metres final, George Simpson of Suva Grammar School settled for silver while Tomasi Tuitatava of Natabua High School will settle for the bronze.

Iliesa Ratubalavu of Cuvu College has edged RKS to win gold in the Sub Junior Boys 400 metres final, Kolinio Kadaoca of RKS settled for the silver while Akuila Cegudrau of Lekutu Secondary School from Bua won the bronze. 

400 metres final -  Girls

Ba Sangam’s Melai Ralagakali had a strong finish to win gold in the Senior Girls 400 metres final, Jasper’s Vani Buleka settled for silver while Sereana Raloga of ACS won bronze.

Varanisese Kalisiana of Vaturova Koroalau High School from Savusavu created an upset in the Intermediate Girls 400 metres finals winning gold while Ana Kaitoga of ACS settled for silver and Ulamila Koroisavou of ACS won bronze.

Adi Cakobau School’s Kesaia Bole-taka-na-kadavu finished in first place in the Junior Girls, Roela Kaloumaira of Namosi Secondary School settled for silver while Merelesita Qoro of Sigatoka Valley High School won bronze.

Melania Ranadi of ACS has won gold in the Sub-Junior Girls 400 metres, Melania Seru of Jasper settled for silver while Lute Vananalagi of ACS took out the bronze.

800 metres - Boys

Ratu Kadavulevu School’s Petero Tuisiga and Joeli Ravulo have bagged gold and silver in the Senior Boys 800 metres final while Sitiveni Aiwete of Uluivalili Secondary School from Savusavu won the bronze medal. 

Pio Rauwa of Namosi Secondary School beat the favourite in the 800 metres Intermediate Boys final to win gold, Abraham Mallam of Suva Grammar School won the silver while Jone Petero of Uluivalili Secondary School won the bronze medal.

Peni Lebaivalu of Vaturova Koroalau High School from Savusavu won gold in the Junior Boys 800 metres final, Rayash Kumar of Labasa College will take home the silver medal while Rupeni Sena of Naiyala Secondary School from Tailevu won the bronze medal.

Ashbal Ali of Dreketi High School edged Marist Brothers High School’s George Koroinasau at the finish line to win gold in the Sub Junior Boys 800 metres final.

Marist’s Koroinasau settled for silver while Sefanaia Tokaduadua of Sigatoka Methodist High School got the bronze medal.

800 metres - Girls

Melaia Ralagakali of Ba Sangam Secondary School won gold in the Senior Girls 800 metres final, Vani Loloma of ACS had to settle for silver while Priyanka Singh of Suva Grammar got bronze.

Linieta Bokadi and Naibena Tuilawaki bagged gold and silver respectively for ACS in the Intermediate Girls 800 metres final while Natabua’s Makereta Atelaite took the bronze medal.

Namosi Secondary School has won gold and bronze in the Junior Girls 800 metres final.

Salome Vatawabai of Namosi Secondary School finished strongly to claim gold and leaves Jasper Williams High School’s Melania Turaga to settle for the silver while Josifini Ana got the bronze medal for Namosi Secondary School. 

Alefina Volavola of Ba Methodist High School won gold in the Sub Junior Girls 800 metres, Raijeli Tabua of Nasau Central Secondary School from Tavua won the silver and Uluivalili Secondary School’s Kinisimere Ranadi will take the bronze to Savusavu.
