The closure of schools is none of our business in the Parliament, this issue remains with the Minister and the Government.

This was stressed by the Speaker of Parliament, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu when Opposition MP Ketan Lal said that they have called on the Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro to close the schools tomorrow as there could be situations where parents could be affected due to the planned water disruptions in the Suva to Nausori areas from midnight to Sunday.

Ratu Naiqama says certain areas have been advised about the planned water cuts and he also asked Lal to listen while he is talking.

The Speaker says the Parliament will be closed as they have been advised about it and they have done this to ensure everyone is comfortable.
