Close relatives in shock after horrific road accident

Close relatives of a Tavua family are in a state of shock after a 73-year-old man died in a road accident at Tagitagi, Tavua, last night.
Rama Nand of Waikona, Tavua, was traveling home with his close relatives from Nadari in a twin cab when the incident happened.
Nand, who was also the trustee of Natawa Primary School, has left behind his two sons, three daughters, with in-laws and grandchildren.
The driver and three other passengers are admitted at Lautoka Hospital while one family member has been treated and sent home.
The road death toll currently stands at 14 compared to 12 for the same period last year.
