Eileen Cikamatana has won the bronze overall medal at the World Weightlifting Championships for Australia in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
She snatched 110kg, clean and jerk 146kg for a total of 256kg.
Cikamatana, who has taken two years to fully recover from a bad injury sustained at the 2021 World Championships, claimed it on 110-146-256, her best total at this weight since January, 2020.
She says that was a surprise because she did not know what she was doing in terms of medals as she just knew she had to go out and make her lifts.
That means two Olympic qualifiers in three weeks for Cikamatana, the Oceania Championships in Solomon Islands and that IWF Grand Prix II in Doha in November and December.
Meanwhile, China's Liang Xiaomei and Wang Zhouyu won gold and silver respectively.
