The Office of the Methodist Church in Fiji has started to receive donations from its 56 divisions.
Secretary of Communication Reverend James Bhagwan said they are expected to collect all the offering by the members this week.
Reverend Bhagwan said the donation will then be sent to the people of Vanuatu, Tuvalu and Kiribati who were affected by Cyclone Pam.
He said the request was only made to the local members last week but they will also welcome donations from its overseas church members.
