Children from three orphanages in Fiji were treated to a night of entertainment yesterday during the final rehearsal of the Centennial Celebration of the RFMF band.
Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto says that it was only fair that the children from Dilkusha home, Saint Christopher’s Home and Veilomani Boys Home of Ba be part of the celebration.
He says it is an early Christmas gift from the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Band.
More than 400 people were at the stadium to witness the final rehearsal yesterday.
Naupoto is confident the event will be successful.
The Centennial celebration will start at 3 this afternoon at the ANZ Stadium and tickets can be purchased from outside the ANZ Bank in Suva and MHCC.
Tickets prices are $30 for grandstand, $25 for the temporary stand, $15 for embankment and $5 for the children under the age of 8 years for the embankment.
