Coach Clayton McMillan said the Blues were a quality side and will be even more dangerous following their loss to the Crusaders.

Staunching their run of 11 losses with their 35–29 Super Rugby Aotearoa win over the Hurricanes in Wellington on Saturday, the Chiefs now face another test when hosting the Blues on Saturday.

Coach Clayton McMillan said the Blues were a quality side and will be even more dangerous following their loss to the Crusaders.

McMillan said he was relieved more than anything else after the win and said he was proud of the effort the players had put in while also showcasing what they could do when getting some front-foot ball.

In Round 5 this week, the Highlanders will take on the Hurricanes at 6.05pm Friday while the Chiefs face the Blues at 6.05pm Saturday.
