Chiefs coach Clayton McMillan says Crusaders will be a tough nut to crack when they face off in the semifinal of Super Rugby Pacific, but they are chasing that success as well.
McMillan says they have have full respect for the Crusaders but they will head to Christchurch next weekend full of belief and optimism about the task ahead.
The Chiefs sealed their semifinal fate after a commanding 39-15 quarterfinal victory over the Waratahs last week.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs last bagged their win in a finals game in 2017.
The Chiefs face the Crusaders at 7.05pm Friday and the Blues will play the Brumbies at 7.05pm Saturday.
