Chase excited to launch his latest collection at the 2018 Fiji Fashion Week

With two days to go for the 2018 Fiji Fashion Week, Aqua Blu Australia Creative Director Kristian Chase is excited to launch his latest collection at the show.

Chase who has links to Fiji is not only in Fiji to showcase his line and meet with local designers, but is also here to get in touch with his roots and find out more about his heritage.

Born in New York, the 33 year old started his career at the age of 19 after watching his mum, Veronica Chase who worked with Vogue magazine as a fashion columnist.

Chase highlighted that after moving from Fiji to New York in the 1990s, his late father, Christopher Pilay was heavily involved in the running of their family business on Wall Street Known as Manchester Trading.

He has worked with world re-known designers such as Christian Dior and Louis Vuitton and Chanel.

Chase who has always had family background in stock markets and business says that he is excited to come to Fiji to venture out to other markets in the Pacific.

He will be showcasing his latest collection called Euphoria, a collection that is filled with colours, bold prints and silhouettes.

Fiji Fashion Week 2018 will be held this Friday and Saturday at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva.
