The Health Ministry has announced that effective from 1 January 2022, all travellers from travel partner countries, 12 years and above must now produce a negative PCR test taken no more than 2 calendar days prior to the scheduled day of departure.
This applies to all travellers disembarking in and transiting through Fiji.
According to the Health Ministry, travellers must present evidence of a negative test that has a specimen collection date indicating that the specimen was collected no more than 2 calendar days before the flight’s departure or first flight in a series of connections booked on the same itinerary.
They say in addition, all eligible travellers will now be required to take an approved Rapid Antigen Test after 24 hours of their arrival into Fiji.
The Health Ministry has also announced that effective 1 January 2022, all travellers from non-travel partner countries, 6 years and above must now produce a negative PCR test taken no more than 2 calendar days prior to the scheduled day of departure.
