The Centenary Church Women's Methodist Fellowship took the initiative of celebrating Pinktober differently as they organised a plan to get their members checked up at the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Medical Centre.
Women’s Fellowship President, Asinate Tuitubou says they were fortunate to be invited to have their checkup at the medical centre.
Tuitubou says many women are unfortunate to sacrifice their time to get their medical checkups due to family commitments and less time to look after their health.
She says they are aware that most women are affected by breast, lung, cervical, skin and ovarian cancers.
The Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Medical Centre is inviting women to join them for the Pinktober Free Clinic check-up that is held in their centre for the whole of this week.
Women attending the free check-up will be offered free breast examination, papsmear and general health checks.
