Boston Celtics has been crowned the new NBA Champion after claiming a 106-88 win over the Dallas Mavericks in game 5 of the NBA Finals Series to make it 4-1.
This is the Celtics’ 18th NBA title in the franchise’s history.
Celtics forward Jayson Tatum put his body on the line in that game scoring 31 points in 45 minutes with 8 rebounds and 11 assists to help his side clinch the title.
The Celtics claimed the first two quarters 28-18 and 39-28, while the Mavericks took out the last two quarters 21-19 and 21-20.
Celtics forward Jaylen Brown was named the MVP.
