Car found hanging from a wire in Toronto Canada

As traffic rumbled over the Leaside Bridge in Toronto, Canada, passersbys noticed a blue Honda Civic dangling precariously by a wire underneath.

Was it a prank? An art project? Or something more sinister?

Police thought initially that the car hanging off a bridge in Toronto, Canada was a part of an unusual movie set but it  wasn't.

Others on social media speculated further that it may have been an engineering student prank.

In 2001 engineering students at the University of British Columbia suspended a red Volkswagen beetle – outfitted with a Canadian flag – from San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge.

But for now the mystery remains up in the air, unlike the car that was lowered safely to the ground by Toronto firefighters.
