Cane growers can expect a cane payment this week

Good news for cane growers as they can expect a cane payment this week.

The CEO of the Fiji Sugar Corporation, Graham Clark says processing of the second cane payment for the 2020 crop is underway and an announcement will be made with payment details once completed.

Clark adds the assessment of TC Yasa damage to cane farms will be discussed by the stakeholders this week and this will include associated assistance.

He says an announcement will be made on this once completed.
