The Kidney Foundation of Fiji yesterday received $25,000 in donation from a Fiji born Canadian man.

The President for Kidney Foundation Fiji, Diwan Maharaj said this donation is a great achievement for them since it will go towards their Dialysis Development Program in progress.

He also urged people to use their money for better causes.

Mohammed Yaseen Sahukhan said he was going to purchase a land in Navua, but after hearing about the Kidney Dialysis Program, he changed his mind without thinking twice and donated the amount of $25,000 to the Kidney Foundation Fiji.
