Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s player Apenisa Cakaubalavu has signed a new contract with Rugby United New York in the USA.
This will mean that Cakaubalavu will feature for New York in the Major League Rugby with the likes of fellow Fijians Jasa Veremalua, Vatemo Ravouvou, Josua Vici and Osea Kolinisau.
The club confirms the signing of Cakaubalavu through their twitter account with Head Coach Greg McWilliams saying that the 27-year-old is a dynamic, skilful player who will add great value to their backline.
Vilimoni Botitu and Aminiasi Tuimaba will also be leaving our shores once the borders are open to join their French Top 14 clubs.
