The CWM Hospital Cleanup Day has received tremendous support as over 1000 individual volunteers have registered to help.
Dr Esther Batiri Williams who is the Chairperson for the Board of Visitors says they had to ask people to consider taking part in later planned CWM Cleanup work.
Dr Williams says they have to reduce the number of volunteers taking part in Saturday’s Cleanup to a manageable size.
She says this excellent response shows clearly that our people are compassionate with a caring spirit, and will not hesitate to lend a helping hand when there is a need.
Dr Williams further says the Ministry of Health and Medical Services is indeed grateful to and appreciative of all the volunteers.
The Cleanup Day is from 8am to 1pm tomorrow.
