CVC winner to be decided on Sunday

The winner of the Pillay Garments Champion vs Champion series between Rewa and Suva will be decided on Sunday.

This was stated by the Fiji Football Association Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Yusuf, who says the second leg of the CVC will be played this Sunday and will be decided in extra time and penalties if the match ends in a draw at full-time.

The CEO says the abandoned match last Sunday will be recorded as nil all and all cards, etc will be recorded and effective.

Yusuf says after receiving the referee’s report the match was abandoned and complies with the IDC match regulations.

He says they are not following the away goals rule and hence it will determine on the aggregate goals scored.

The second leg will be played this Sunday and will be decided in extra time and penalties if the match ends in a draw at fulltime.

He confirms all fans holding onto their tickets will be allowed entry to HFC stadium via a complimentary ticket from the complimentary gate.

The second leg between All Freight Logistics Suva vs Design Marine Services Rewa will be held at the HFC Bank Stadium at 3 pm along with the women’s inaugural CVC match between Ba and Labasa which will be played as a curtain raiser at 1pm.
