The Health Ministry says COVID-19 positive individuals who are classified “stable” will be transferred to community isolation facilities for continued monitoring and medical care.
There are now eight COVID-19 community isolation facilities across Fiji with three located in the Central Division and five located in the Western Division.
The Health Ministry says community isolation facilities will be activated when divisional and sub-divisional isolation facilities have reached their capacity.
At Colo-I-Suva Training Centre the Ministry of Forests have done a great job in preparing this as an isolation facility and briefing with Ministers Seruiratu and Usamate. Whole of Government effort. #TogetherWeCan pic.twitter.com/hwD7onCm9Q

The three community isolation facilities in the Central Division are CWM Hospital, Navua Hospital and the Forestry Training Centre in Colo-i-Suva while the community isolation facilities in the Western Division are Nadi Hospital, Nadi Special School, Lautoka Hospital, Natabua High School and Ba Mission Hospital.
There are still seven confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Fiji and the government says it will advise the public as soon as possible should this change.
The Health Ministry says all Fijians admitted to community isolation facilities will have their meals provided and will not be allowed to have visitors.
There are also protocols in place for staff who will provide meals and cleaning services. These protocols include physical distancing between patients and staff.
