The Central Bureau of Investigation has closed the case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death, ruling out any foul play and confirming that the actor took his own life.
The closure report clears actress Rhea Chakraborty and her family members of all accusations, including claims they drove.
As per Hindustani Times, Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment in June 2020, sparking a series of conspiracy theories surrounding his death.
They say after an extensive investigation, which included forensic evidence, technical data from the US, medical opinions and questioning of all involved parties, the CBI concluded there was no evidence of foul play in Rajput's death.
The agency filed a closure report in two related cases before a special court in Mumbai.
