Swire Shipping Fijian Drua coach Mick Byrne says injured flyhalf Caleb Muntz is on track to play again in next season’s Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific competition after his 9 months recovery is up in May 2024.
During the announcement of the Fijian Drua squad for the next season today, Byrne says the coaching staff are not putting any expectations on Muntz’s return.

Muntz injured his knee before the Rugby World Cup in France after helping the Flying Fijians secure a historic 30-22 win over England at Twickenham Stadium in August this year.
Byrne says Muntz has been in the gym doing his rehab.
He says Muntz has been great for the team and has been coaching the new boys.
The Fijian Drua will have seven home games next season.
They will kick off their season in Auckland against the Blues on 23rd February 2024.
