Swire Shipping Fijian Drua coach Mick Byrne is anticipating a physical battle in the forwards when they take on the Blues in the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific quarter finals this weekend.

Byrne says the Blues got a way of how they want to play and they would not want to hide away from the fact that they will want to come hard and on top of the Drua.

He says the Drua will bring in what they are renowned for and that is to get around the Blues before they do.

He adds they will make sure that when the Blues come running at them, they will also be running hard at the Blues.

Byrne says he is confident that they can go one better this year and make it into the semi finals and has a lot more confidence in the players with how they are playing.

The Drua will take on the Blues at 7.05pm this Saturday at Eden Park in the third quarter final.

In other quarter finals this weekend, the Chiefs will play the Reds at 7.05pm Friday, the Hurricanes will host the Rebels at 4.35pm Saturday and the Brumbies will play the Highlanders at 9.35pm Saturday.
