Fiji soccer team former coach Carlos Buzzetti has been appointed as Fiji soccer’s coaching director.
Buzzetti was relieved of his duties in 2009 due to uncertain events after being employed by the national football body for three seasons.
Fiji Football Association President Patel said a lot of work had been done by Buzzetti during his time with Fiji FA, and they had performed well under his guidance.
He added that the board supported him 100% in reinstating the former coach.
Buzzetti who is not in the country at the moment will be based in Ba and is expected to begin work soon due to upcoming heavy commitments for the next season.
Buzzetti’s first task will be to prepare a strong Fiji soccer team which will face the likes of New Zealand, Solomon’s and New Caledonia in the World Cup Qualifiers next year.
