The ACT Brumbies could not be keener for this weekend’s semi final clash against the Chiefs in Hamilton labeling this match as their biggest challenge in club rugby.
After a nail-biting 37-33 quarter final win over the Hurricanes last weekend, the Brumbies side are all raring to go again this weekend and to try and avenge their loss earlier to the Chiefs this season.
Veteran Brumbies and Wallabies halfback Nic White says there is no better challenge than the game this weekend.
He says heading into this game and seeing who the potential lineups are gonna be, he is hoping he gets a chance to go over and test himself.
White says this is what they have been prepping for all year and they are keen for it.
Meanwhile, the ACT side has some setbacks prepping for this weekend as coach Stephen Larkham confirms captain Allan Alaalatoa is extremely unlikely to feature in the semi final.
The Brumbies will take on the Chiefs at 7.05pm Saturday in Hamilton.
The first semi final between the Crusaders and the Blues will be at 7.05pm Friday in Christchurch.
