British army conduct workshop in Fiji

With full defence cooperation re-established between Fiji and Britain, a team from the British Army is currently conducting a three day workshop training courses with the Republic of Fiji Military Forces.

British Defence Adviser based in New Zealand Lieutenant Colonel Tim Woodman says the RFMF had asked them to provide training in Ceremonial Drill Course, Psy-chology Leadership and Media Operations Workshops.

Lieutenant Colonel Woodman said they have run these courses all over the world.

He also said with Fiji having free and fair elections, its important for them to re-engage with the Fiji Military.

He added they will conduct more workshops in future.
