Brighton outclassed rivals Crystal Palace 4-1 in their English Premier League match this morning.
The home side scored three goals in the first half through Lewis Dunk, Jack Hinshelwood and Facundo Buonanotte to give them a 3-0 lead at the break.
Palace tightened their defence in the second spell and scored a goal through Jean-Philippe Mateta.
Land Joao Pedro put the final nail in the coffin for the home side with a goal in the 84th minute for the win.
In the other matches played today, Aston Villa thrashed Sheffield United 5-0 while Everton and Tottenham drew 2-all, Burnley and Fulham drew 2-all and Newcastle and Luton Town drew 4-all. Meanwhile, Liverpool is leading the points table with 51 points, followed by Manchester City, Arsenal and Aston Villa with 46 points respectively and Tottenham in fifth place with 44 points.
