Don't expect the Crusaders to sit on their eight-point buffer as they head into the second round Super Rugby Aotearoa as assistant coach Scott Hansen says the Highlanders are growing their performances.
He felt the Highlanders were playing good rugby and using the ball well and that the Crusaders faced a big challenge against them.
The Crusaders would also have George Bridge available for selection this week after his recovery from injury.
Hansen says the Crusaders are not taking the Highlanders or any of the other New Zealand sides lightly because any team is capable of beating others on their day.
The Crusaders will face the Highlanders at 6.05pm Friday.
