Hurricanes captain Brad Shields has been named in the starting line-up that will take on the Rebels tonight in round 5 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.

Shields returned to the Hurricanes after a break of 6 years, playing in Europe and also suffering a foot injury during pre-season.

The unbeaten Hurricanes will be looking to make it five straight wins tonight.

Shields is feeling more nervous ahead of his 105th game for the Hurricanes than he did his first, saying it took a little longer than he would have hoped, as he was pretty keen to get back out there a few weeks ago, but it’s all good now and he is happy to be back.

Shields will lead an almost unrecognisable team to the one that beat the Crusaders on their own patch in Christchurch last week.

The Hurricanes host the Rebels at 6.05 tonight.

In other matches, the Hurricanes host the Rebels at 6.05 tonight, the Brumbies will meet Moana Pasifika at 8.35pm, while in tomorrow’s games the Chiefs play the Highlanders at 3.35pm, the Blues face the Crusaders at 6.05pm, before the Force play the Reds at 8.35pm.
