Miss Singh's Rental, Matila Bouta has been crowned the Vodafone Ba Riverside Carnival 2016 Queen.

Bouta was crowned last night by Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum who was the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony.

She will represent Ba at the Miss Fiji Pageant in November.

Bouta has dedicated the win to her family and also the people of Ba who were severely affected by Cyclone Winston.

She says she has big shoes to fill as 2015 Miss Vodafone Ba Riverside Carnival Zaira Begg went to be Miss Fiji.

Miss Naidu Amusement was the first runner-up while Miss Civil Servant Rajna Devi was the second runner-up.

The Miss Fiji Pageant 2016 will be held at Lawaqa Park from the 5th to the 12th of November.

Meanwhile, the Vodafone Tebara Carnival 2016 was officially opened last night.

Six contestants are vying to be Miss Vodafone Tebara Carnival 2016.
