Bollywood movie filmed in Fiji wins award
A Bollywood movie shot in Fiji last year has won an award even before its release.

The movie “Supermodel” was awarded the “Best Stylish Fashion Film” by Haut Monde Fashion Institute in New Delhi.

Eighty locals were also part of the movie which was shot at various locations in the Western Division with a budget of $2.5 million.

The movie is a journey of common girls becoming supermodels and a different twist in their lives when they get trapped in a controversy.

The movie will start in Fiji on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Vineel Nand, the first Fijian to be in the direction team from Bollywood, said they have started to receive calls from India to have film shooting in Fiji to take advantage of the film rebate and the beautiful locations.
