The body of a man in his late 40’s was recovered from a river in Naivucini, Naitasiri this morning.
Police say the man was swept away by strong currents while crossing the river yesterday.
A search was conducted by villagers with the help of officers from Vunidawa Police Station.
According to Police, a post mortem examination will be conducted to ascertain the cause of death.
