Good news as the price of fuel and cooking gas will drop from this Saturday.
The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission confirms that the price of a litre of unleaded fuel will go down to $2.61 which is a 19 cents drop while the price of premix will go down to $2.50 per litre, which is a reduction of 12 cents.
The price of diesel goes down from $2.36 to $2.22 a litre while kerosene will go down to $1.81 per litre.
The price of a 4.5kg cylinder of gas will go down by $1.43 to $12.96 while a 12kg cylinder will cost you $34.56 which is a reduction by $3.81.
The FCCC says the prices are based on imports, freight and foreign exchange rates.
