Belief, intent, our why and most importantly for who.
This was the sentiment shared by Fiji Water Flying Fijians head coach Simon Raiwalui reflecting on the team’s 30-22 win over England last weekend.
As the team head to France to prepare for the 2023 Rugby World Cup, the team have an impressive record of 4 out of five wins in this year’s international tests.
The Flying Fijians recorded a clean 3 wins out of 3 games in the Punjas Pacific Battle Series against Tonga, Samoa and Japan before falling short to France and then recording the historic win against England.
In a Facebook post shared by Raiwalui a day after their game against England, the team had a lovo feast after their church service to celebrate the win.
Their focus now turns to the RWC as they will take on Wales in their first pool clash at 7am on the 11th of next month.
