Beauden Barrett is a notable absentee from All Blacks training in Whakatāne.

The All Black star's wife Hannah is heavily pregnant.

All Blacks and babies have been a hot topic in recent weeks following the news that The Rugby Championship would be hosted in Australia and New Zealand players would be away from their families from late-October through until Christmas.

A report suggested new fathers Richie Mo’unga, TJ Perenara and the expecting Barrett were all set to make themselves unavailable for the Australian trip.
