Be alert when engaging with Jodhpuri Galax – Consumer Council

Consumer Council of Fiji Chief Executive Officer Seema Shandil has called on people to be alert and exercise extreme vigilance when dealing with Jodhpuri Galax on social media platforms.

Jodhpuri Galax is an overseas-based trader that operates via social media platforms like Facebook and Viber.

Shandil says a customer ordered a lehenga worth $158 in January 2022 however, almost 8 months have passed and the trader has not made any delivery.

She says the operator has been taking deposits from consumers and failing to supply goods therefore, she urges Fijians to always conduct background checks of online businesses that have very little to no information publicly available before engaging with them.
