It will be a battle of the Fiji rugby giants this weekend when defending Skipper Cup champion Suva takes on Nadroga in the senior men’s Skipper Cup final.
Suva had a dominant performance against Nadi last Saturday and came out with a comfortable 38-16 win while Nadroga had to dig deep against a tough Naitasiri side to escape with a 21-17 win.
Suva will be looking to get their hands on the prestigious trophy for the second year in a row but Nadroga on the other hand will want to redeem themselves as the champion of Fiji Rugby, a title they were once known for.
Suva coach Solomoni Nute says he was happy with how his players performed against a formidable Nadi side and they improved so much from their quarter final match against Ba the previous week.
Nute says they controlled their set pieces well but they need to work on their finishing this weekend knowing the threats that Nadroga will be providing.
Suva will take on Nadroga at 3pm this Saturday at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
