Batinikama and Nakama roads in Labasa flooded

Batinikama and Nakama roads in Labasa have been closed due to flash flooding.

Batinikama resident, Mohammed Muveen says the road services four villages and settlements.

Muveen says a family has moved into the evacuation centre at Batinikama College as flood waters have entered their compound from Qawa River.

Nakama Road, Labasa is also flooded and closed.
