People need to save money.
Students of Basden College will be portraying this message when they perform for the first time in tomorrow night’s FM96 Tadra Kahani with Connect and supported by BSPlife and Legend FM.
Form 5 student Waisea Iliesa said with the issue of poverty, they want to raise awareness on the importance of saving.
Iliesa said as first timers to the event, they are learning how to perform and be confident in front of a big crowd on an international standard stage.
The schools that are participating to win this year’s Tadra Kahani trophy are defending champions Cathedral Secondary School, Dilkusha Methodist High School, Lomary Secondary School, International School Suva, International School Nadi, Suva Grammar School, Blue Light Fiji group, John Wesley College and Basden College.
The winner gets $2,500, the first runner-up gets $1,500 while the second runner-up gets $1,000.
Tadra Kahani will be held at the Vodafone Arena at 7pm tomorrow.
