Blues skipper-for-the-day Beauden Barrett admits he's looking forward to starting alongside rugby league recruit Roger Tuivasa-Sheck for the first time against the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua.
Since switching codes late last year, Tuivasa-Sheck has started just once for the Auckland-based Super Rugby Pacific side, before suffering a shoulder injury late in their season-opener against the Hurricanes.
Barrett missed his team-mate's debut with lingering concussion symptoms and only logged a few minutes with Tuivasa-Sheck at the tailend of last week's historic win over the Crusaders at Christchurch.
The Fijian Drua will play the Blues at 7.05 tonight in the Super Round in Melbourne. In other matches, the Hurricanes will play the Reds at 9.45pm tonight, the Highlanders will meet the Brumbies at 4pm tomorrow and the Crusaders will face the Rebels at 6.30pm tomorrow.
