The preparation for the Amazing Wheelbarrow Race - Bara Battle fundraiser organised by the Frank Hilton Organization is well underway as teams took part in a successful training session early this morning despite cold and rainy conditions.

The Organisation says through these sessions, participants gain essential skills and knowledge necessary for the race, ensuring a competitive and exciting event.

Meanwhile, the Virtual Bara Battle begins at 6am tomorrow.

The virtual race will cover a distance of approximately 480 kilometres, encircling the island of Viti Levu.

Over 50 teams have registered for this virtual challenge, which offers participants the opportunity to contribute towards the cause.

For every $10 donation, teams will advance 1 kilometre closer to the finish line.

The Virtual Bara Battle will span eight days and conclude on the 23rd of July.

Each day of the Virtual Bara Battle, teams aim to complete a distance of 60 kilometers.

Teams successfully completing the virtual race will earn the privilege to participate in the Physical Bara Battle, which will be held at Albert Park on the 29th of July.

The Frank Hilton Organization also has its own Virtual Bara Battle team and you can give donations to the organisation through this link: https://donation.amazingwheelbarrowrace.com/donation/29/6792937513
