Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has sent his best wishes to Australia’s new Prime Minister Scott Morrison who was elected by his Liberal Party colleagues.
Bainimarama in his letter to the Australian Prime Minister says the trade ties between the two nations are strong and investment is flowing.
In his capacity as the COP 23 President, Bainimarama has also shown his appreciation for Australia’s commitment in the fight against climate change.
Bainimarama believes that Australia’s commitment in the fight against climate change will grow stronger going forward.
The Prime Minister says he is looking forward to strengthen the new foundation of mutual respect and understanding that supports the bilateral relationship between the two countries.
