Ba town is expected to be without a hotel for some more time as according to the Ba Town Council the Ba hotel which is under major construction work will only open 14 rooms and some other facilities by June next year.

Ba is without a hotel for more than a year and Ba Town Council CEO, Dip Narayan says a lot of people are facing difficulties in regards to accommodation in Ba.

He says they had received two more proposals for hotel construction in Ba but both projects have been put on hold by the investors.

Narayan says the Ba Hotel which is owned by FIFA Holdings Limited is expected to have 68 rooms when the construction finishes but only 14 rooms will open by June next year.

He says the owner of Ba Hotel has advised them that they are waiting for some materials from overseas.

Narayan says construction work on the Ba Hotel will cost over $5 million.
