Ba tops NSL table after thrashing Nadi

Ba is back on top of the National Soccer League points table after a 5-0 win over Nadi in their home ground this afternoon.

The Men in Black meant business from the first whistle of the match bombarding the Nadi goal mouth.

Free kick specialist, Avinesh Waran scored twice while, Tui Masi Manuca, Malakai Tiwa and Kiniviliame Naika also put their name on the score sheet.

Ba now has two remaining match against Savusavu and Labasa and needs maximum points from both matches to win this year’s National Soccer league competition.

Ba now has 43 points.

Meanwhile, in other matches Savusavu will host Tavua at 2pm in Ganilau Park tomorrow while in the Viti Levu Playoffs Rakiraki will take on Tailevu Naitasiri at Govind Park at 3pm tomorrow.
