The Ba soccer association wants the Pillay's Garments Champions league match between Ba and Rewa to be played at Govind Park and not at the TFL stadium this Sunday.

Ba soccer President, Rishi Kumar has written to the Fiji Football stating that Rewa has hosted the first match and Ba should be given the chance to host the second match.

Kumar said the Navua and Lautoka match has been postponed to next Wednesday which should pave the way for Ba to host the crucial match.

However, Fiji FA's Chief Executive, Bob Kumar said the fixtures and venue's have been decided and changes will not be made at this stage.

In last nights match's Ba beat Lautoka 1-0 at Govind Park while Navua beat Rewa 1-0 at Ratu Cakobau Park.

Ba currently leads the points table with eight points, Navua is second with six points followed by Rewa with five points and Lautoka lies at the bottom with two points.

At 3pm this Sunday, Ba will take on Rewa at the TFL Stadium and the result of the match will give a clear picture on which team has a greater chance of claiming the prestigious title.

The commentary of the match can be heard on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
