The Ba Town Council has activated it Disaster Management Plan ahead of the anticipated bad weather which may befall the country today.
Ba Town Council CEO Dip Narayan says their Works Manager is working to see that drains are cleared of debris today to prevent flooding.
Narayan says they are keeping a watch on the central business district in Ba and if there is continuous heavy downpour, they will be informing ratepayers and businesses about their action plan.
The CEO says the Market Master has also informed market vendors to keep minimum stock in the market to avoid damage to their stock.
He says the weather in Ba is clear at the moment but they had received some rain the previous night.
